The Tigers twice clawed back a two score deficit to earn a very hard fought victory over the Eastern Rhinos in Round 4 of the Southern Conference.
Having struggled to find a rhythm in the first half, repeated errors compounded issues and the Tigers found themselves 22-10 down at half time.
A far more focused second half performance saw the lads reducing errors, building pressure and stringing sets together. They wound their way back to level scores on the hour mark before extending a lead that would see them come away from Essex with two competition points!
A hat trick for Santino Decaro earned him the man of the match accolade which could have gone to any number of second half performers.
The win creates clear separation in the league table between us and the Rhinos in 3rd and 4th place with a game in hand.
Next up we host North Herts Crusaders on Friday 29th May!
