Despite losing the final regular season round game of 2025, the Tigers won't be deterred heading into the playoffs. Far from it in fact. The final two rounds of the regular season were a direct dress rehearsal for the playoffs.

The Tigers lost to both 2nd placed Hammersmith and 1st placed Wests Warriors in the previous two weeks but have come out of the two game stint with their eyes wide open!

"We now know the levels we have to hit to compete", said Rob Ashton, "They have both consistently been the best sides in the competition for years and they set the standards. We weren't great when we played Hammersmith, we were better when we played Wests. We have to refine our game and reach the potential we failed to reach within ourselves in those games."

The Tigers were well in the fight with Wests Warriors on Saturday. And for decent periods of the game looked their equal. "For a period in the second half we went toe to toe with them so we know we can do it."

Tries on the day from Elliott Hutchings, George Orriss, Reece Staerck and Sam Elrick were all justification that we are where we are supposed to be.

The Tigers have a week off now ahead of the knock out stages of the competition which will help clear up any injuries and some match details before travelling to Chiswick RUFC on the 30th.
