The Tigers took their recent form on the road to Chiswick this weekend and came away with an historic win over London Chargers!

It was the first time the Tigers have ever beaten the London side, a feat they also achieved a week prior against Bristol All Golds!

The game was tough and physical from the start and the 6-6 half time score was a fair reflection of defensive attitude matching attacking force from both sides.

The Tigers, as they have done so well in previous weeks, weathered the storm and waited for their opportunities. They didn't come easily and it was moments of brilliance from Teddy Davidson to break open the Chargers defence for his two tries while Harvey Dench benefitted from a pin point kick from new recruit Adam Rusling and a well worked move on the left edge for his brace.

While you'd have thought the full time whistle would have brought scenes of wild celebration, the feeling was more that of relief born out of nothing less than sheer exhaustion.

Si Elrick continues to develop and thrive since switching codes and put in a man of the match performance alongside his twin brother Sam who debuted for the club on Saturday too.

What the win means in the context of the competition is that the Tigers now sit third with clear separation from the Chargers with whom we shared the same points going into the game. Its also 3 huge away wins from 3 for the club and all but secures a Top 4 spot with four games to go. Only Bristol can mathematically spoil the party but would have to overcome some 370 points difference.

That may all pail into insignificance this Saturday coming when we host Bristol in round 11. A win cements Top 4 and would round off the most successful season in the clubs history even with three games to go!
