Following a huge turn around in performance in 2025 which saw us enjoy our most successful season to date, we have qualified for round 1 of the Betfred Challenge Cup which takes place on the weekend of January 10/11th 2026.

The prestigious knockout tournament is 129 years old with the final being played at Wembley Stadium in May

The Tigers have featured twice before in 2020 and 2023 but failed to clear the first round. We will be hoping that third times a charm!

Director of Rugby Rob Ashton: “Playing in the Challenge Cup is huge for the players. Not many will get the chance to do it in their careers and there’s already a buzz building in the group”.

“We’re generating a lot of momentum at the moment and for the club it’s another huge step in the right direction. We’ve made no secret of how aspirational we are and we need to be on these stages and raising our profile.”
