After 18 months of work, 6 months of preparation and the amazing support of the University of Bedfordshire, we have finally got the date for our first ever wheelchair match!

On Saturday 2nd December we host Sheffield Eagles in what is not only our first ever game, but also the first ever Wheelchair Rugby match in Bedford!

Preparation has been good with the new squad coming together well over the past couple of months and wouldn't be possible without the backing of funding from the Rugby League World Cup legacy fund and the generous support of principle sponsor 78:8 Investments.

The University have also been pivotal in getting our team off the ground with the use of their Arena Sports Hall on the Polhill campus and continued development of a partnership between our two organisations.

The game will kick off at 2pm and we are encouraging a big crowd to join us with all money raised going towards our Community Foundation and back to the development of the team and provision of accessible sport for all in Bedford!
