Having finished top of their pool the Tigers took on East RL new comers Breckland Spartans in the semi final, winning through to face Kings Lynn Black Knights in the final itself.

The Tigers went 12-0 ahead only to let the lead slip and for Kings Lynn to draw themselves level to take the final into Golden Point for the second season in a row.

After a failed drop goal attempt from Lee Walker the Tigers showed great tenacity to defend and force a turn over on half way. Tom Albone showed great awareness to support and make good yards before Sam Richbell broke a tackle and touched down to break the Tigers' 8 year drought!

Josh Spearing was also named as the tournament's Man of Steel and Sean Tribbeck picked up the fastest man accolade in what was a supurb day for the Bedford club!

The Tigers now prepare for the first game of the season away at reigning champions St Ives Roosters!
