The Tigers reached the Betfred Challenge Cup second round for the first time after a convincing 36-6 victory over Medway Dragons.

Our reward is a second round trip to Championship side North Wales Crusaders who have not been shy about recruitment. In recent weeks they have announced former Super League players Greg Eden, Dec Patton and most recently, Scotland International Danny Addy.

The Tigers will be without Is Elrick and Jack Saunders who both picked up injuries in round 1 but will be bolstered by the return of Ed Brown and Josh Kerr who both missed the game through unavailability.
