The Tigers' men get their season started on Sunday with a tough away trip to Bristol All Golds.
Having had our scheduled game with North Herts postponed last week, we are now a week behind the rest of the competition and playing catch up.
"Missing our original first round game and having no preseason friendlies isn't ideal preparation and it has caused us some disruption but we still feel like we're in a far stronger starting place than we were last season". Said director of Rugby Rob Ashton on the sides weekend ahead.
The Tigers finished 3rd in what has been rebranded as the National Conference South competition last year and will need a good start in order to build upon that success.
New recruits and several strong resignings have helped, as did renewed interest in the club following our Challenge Cup run earlier in the year.
